Let's see....where do I begin? First things first...My family is THE MOST important thing in my life. And I ALWAYS have my camera. I am a wife and a mother, and I don't want to forget the way my 6 year old smiles at me when she gets off the school bus. Or the way my little boy looks all tucked into bed with his blankie and pillow. Or even a night out at the honky tonk with my husband after a long week of work... I feel lucky to be mommy to McKenna and Michael and wife to Gary. I feel blessed to have parents that taught me how to love and be loved. My family is a privilege, not an obligation.
Aside from that, I take pleasure in the simple things...jeans and flip flops, an ice cold beer, Yankees baseball, the sound of the ocean, reading to my kids, holding Gary's hand, laughing with my girlfriends, a peppermint mocha from starbucks, and Lord, don't forget, a bowl of pumpkin ice cream in the fall.
